THE STORY INSIDE

How often is the story inside? Static cutaways often don't get across how something really works.

For 2017, Specialized has launched the smoothest and fastest road bike they've ever created. Everyone is talking about how fast the bike is. But, what makes it smooth and fast is inside. So, Specialized asked TB&O to create a video animation that would show how the heart of this bike, the Future Shock, works. We learned a lot about shocks. Not the least of which is that everything moves at a different rate. And, that there are some important interdependencies among all these small parts. To peel back the frame and the cartridge walls, we pushed some of the tools in KeyShot 6 using them in unconventional ways.
